Yesterday I watched a video through Facebook about homophobia. It is a compilation of photos of a young boy who killed by a bully, at the age of 15, for being gay.
When I watched the video, I could not help but cry. The song that is being played while you view the photos, is "Somebody's Baby" by Pat Benatar. It was by far the best song choice for such an event.
Things like this make me worry about where out future, as a country, is really headed when it comes to tolerance. First it was racism and segregation, which is still very much part of our culture. And now it seems homophobia and civil equality and right up there next to racism.
What to do. . . =(
