Oy vay. . . I don't even know where to start. Garrett doesn't know when he's going to be coming back from Iraq. We were both expecting sometime in September, cause that's what his deployment papers said. But he was told that it was not determined, of course. So, we aren't sure when he will be coming home.
I made the choice that I can't wait for him. I need that physical contact. Everyone relationship needs one. I feel like I am torturing myself when I can easily make the torture stop. He agreed that this wasn't fair for either of us.
I feel better that we talked about it. We are still going to be really close, while we are on this some what of a break. I still love him. And I want to be with him when he gets home. But I am not strong enough to wait on till then.
Garrett, I hope you believe me when I say that I will always love you and that I will be here for you when you come home to me.

Update!
So I have some VERY exciting news! I got a job at Continuant!!
It's a telecommunications company in Fife. What they do is install phone lines for companies and then make sure they stay up and running.
My job would be as a Customer Service Representative. I would be assigned companies and if they have glitches or their phones go down, I work directly with an engineer to help them get everything back up and working.
So, after that great news I have another tid bit of fun news. Sydney and I are going to get an apartment in Fife. We found some really nice ones online so we are going to go look at them next week. I am super stoked cause I loved living on my own!

As the summer days go on. . .
The days are getting longer, the temperature is constantly 75+, and I am lazier than ever.
The new Starbucks is opening on Friday. I spent most of my day there today setting up all of the merchandise and all the stations and the bars. It is really awesome looking and I am super excited to see all the new partners work together and how well we do.
I won't be with Starbucks for much longer, hopefully. I have an interview on Monday with a company called Continuant. Basically, they install phone lines and stuff like that for other companies and maintain those. My position would be a Customer Service Representative. I would be assigned certain companies and when they call with a glitch or problem with their system, I work directly with an engineer to work it out.
I am WAY excited and really hope that I get this job. I love Starbucks and everyone that I work with, but I need a job that pays more, allows me to work 40 hours a week, and has a set schedule. Starbucks isn't any of those things, unfortunately.
I am going to wait on getting that tattoo that I wanted. A small version of it would cost anywhere from $180 to $250. So I figure if I am going to spend that much then I want it done really big in the middle of my back. I do however want this symbol, the Aquarius zodiac sign, on my other hip

The final days and the return home
So San Diego was a fun vacation, in the long run. On Tuesday we went to the Wild Animal Park for a good portion of the day. That was fun cause I hadn't been there in over 10 years.
I fed some lorikeets and took a tram ride around their safari type deal. We watched some of the shows. One of them was really lame cause it was like a big puppet show. It didn't have any animals in it at all. So, lame. The birds of prey show was pretty cool though.
That was basically the highlight of Tuesday. On Wednesday I went to Torri Pines, which is a state park with a really nice beach. The water was nice and clear. The sun was. The waves were huge! I had a blast. Got a nice tan going on. I am sore, however, from leaping through the waves and fighting them.
Anywho, so after the beach I came home and showered and finished packing everything. My flight left at 6:55 from the San Diego which then flew to Oakland where I had to wait like. . . an hour for my flight to Seattle. So, I finally land in Seattle around 11:20. My dad and my dog, Cierra, were there to pick me up.
I got home. Laid on my bed. Got a sudden burst of energy and starting frying me up a hamburger patty and Garrett called. So I talked to him for about an hour then went to bed. I am SO glad to be home.

Dreary
So, I know I should be having a blast because I am on vacation and I'm in San Diego. . . blah blah blah. Truth is. . . It's kind of a drag.
Yesterday, a GORGEOUS Sunday, everyone wanted to sit around the house to "relax". . . Are you for SERIOUS? There was much talk amongst the family about venturing to the beach for the day. I was like "Um. . . Hell yes" but obviously that wasn't the case. So what did I do? I woke up around 11. . . Ate some breakfast. Talked to Garrett for about an hour. Ate some lunch. Then I sat around all night.
My sister and her husband, Bryan, left for the airport around 4:30 to go back home. That was really depressing. After they left, I took a 2 hour nap. When I woke up, everyone was back from the airport. So, my aunt Colleen, my sister, my little brother and my uncle Neal and I played Panguitchopoly. For those of you not in "the know" Panguitch, Utah (pronounced Payng-witch) is a podunk town in southern Utah. I go there once a year for about a week to see my family that I have down there. It's actually my favorite part of Utah because it is relaxing and is really is the "small town" stereotype.
Anyways, after a rousing game of Panguitchopoly I watched some TV and then passed out around 11.
So today, we actually went to the beach!! Around 1 my family and I travelled to La Jolla shores. It was really cloudy but still nice and hot. Lots of Boogie boarding. More to come!

San Diego!
So I flew into San Diego last night on Jet Blue. It's been about 10 years since I've been on a plane so it was a fun experience. Thankfully the only thing I was nervous about was having to pee on the plane cause I HATE public toilets ,ha ha.
Anyways, so I saw some fireworks as I was sitting outside the airport while talking to Laura on the phone. It wasn't anything special but fireworks don't really do it for me anymore, heh. It's so muggy at night time. Kinda sick. But you gotta love it!
So, this morning, at like 8, the whole family (cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents) went to the historical Navy Hospital this morning for family photos on the grounds. They were gorgeous! Didn't so much like or care for the pictures but it was nice outside. Bob Hansen, a consumer reporter for San Diego's NBC took our photos. He's a friend of my grandparents.
After the hour long ordeal of photography, some of us ventured to the world famous San Diego Zoo. I used to love the place and I still enjoyed it. It just wasn't as exciting for me s it was about 5 years ago. Still had a blast though.
I didn't get to talk to Garrett last night. That was stressful.
Anyways, I am in the upstairs hallway where I can connect to my grandparents ancient wireless network and I think dinner is ready. More to come!
